Happy New Year and all that Jazz!

It seems that a new year is not far away and with this thought 2013 will become part of history like all the years before it. I wish you all a happy new year and a great 2014.

Whatever plans you have to welcome the new year whether it be going out dancing with friends:

Drinking the new year in at a house party:

Staying in and doing your hair (Image taken from book I own Style me Vintage):

Watching old movies in front of the fire:

Or doing a bit of sewing (Image from a new book I got my hands on ‘The Busy Girl’s Guide To Sewing‘)

I hope you are all with loved ones and have a great evening. Thanks to all of you for joining me and making me so welcome on my new journey in 2013 of blogging and setting up Mrs Fox’s Finery & Fancies. Who knows what 2014 will bring but lets hope it’s lots of vintage, fun and crafting.

Just think one day people will look back and think 2013 was a vintage year – how mad is that!

  1. Wow, those sparkling silver shoes look gorgeous. And that silver hand bag looks almost like one of mine (which I just purchased this year from a antique shop^^).
    Happy New Year!

    1. I picked up the shoes from Topshop in the sale this week. I had to have them as I thought they where great dancing shoes and very 20s. The bag is vintage and has a small mirror inside also which is cool. Sounds like we are both little magpies!
