I have been looking forward to Monica’s Vintage fair for a while, it’s always so much fun and has lots going on. I was even more excited as I came across an amazing suit a few weeks before that I knew I had to save for the event. I couldn’t wait to wear it out.
Ok so I maybe should be selling it (there are a few holes in my business plan!) but as soon as I put it on and the lining felt so nice I knew I couldn’t part with it, my poor Mother-in-Law has given up with me! But I am sure you will agree with my new hair it’s home is with me:
I wanted my stall to look a bit different this time as I this was to be my third stall at Monica’s fair. I brought a different table cover (it had a bit more of a winter feel), got some new hangers (well the Mother-in-law did) that all matched, tried a new stand for my linen and made a bargain box of vintage clothes.
The fair has now got so big there was a lot more stalls which went into another room and the hallway! Here are some of the bits I liked:
It meant that spending was an easy job, which is never good when you are meant to be selling! I got these cards from LCR Designs:
Why stop at just one?
I also brought some pretty napkins from Anchors Aweigh vintage. Since blogger Kerrycan said about Cocktail napkins they have been on my brain. These are not napkins but I thought they would be a close second.
In between the shopping and eating
I did do some work and meet some really nice customers. I had a lady buy this fab coat I had and I could tell that the coat is going to have a great time with her.
I took a photo of a lady who’s outfit was really pretty – thanks for letting me take it:
So it was a busy day – talking, shopping and selling but to top the day off I was given this wonderful photo taken by George Chandler which was taken at the last Monica’s Vintage fair and I know when my friend see’s this she is going to die. It’s amazing:
Enough talking from me but I hope whatever you did this weekend you had fun and had a little vintage in your life also. x
